This is from a session when the kids visited a couple of weeks ago. We made a quick trip to Mineral Point on Saturday and found the great headband at Bobby Jo Interiors. I highly recommend a visit to her jam-packed store. She has a sweet variety from bags, throws, scarves and headbands to furniture and large rugs. We also visited the in-town and edge-of-town locations of Johnston Pottery and had a tasty lunch at the Brewery. There’s a new, organic food store there where we bought huge bottles of olive oil. Dawn and I agreed we could have done better if we would have been alone shopping!

Now, I’m getting ready for small group and my house is a wreck. Oh, well, it always gets back in place, doesn’t it? I just have to share more photos of Erin – she definitely wanted to do a photo session after her bath last night and didn’t really want to quit. But, it was a very full day and Grandma was tired. She wore her mommy’s wedding veil again for some of them and I used a vintage texture on that one. Here are just a couple:

Erin Alone

March 21, 2009

This is the very first time we’ve had Erin, four, alone for the weekend. We have so many things on our to-do list: make waffles, sit on the couch together watching Enchanted, discovery walk the golf course, ride the purple bike, play babies in the basement, Walmart trip for Pinocchio, lunch at Union Dairy. Don’t know if we can get it all done in such a short time ??
